L’Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara – Review

Packaging

The packaging is very simple as are most drugstore mascaras. The shiny pale pink is pretty and can look luxurious when cleaned. One downside I have noted is that many mascaras are a similar style such as Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara that I get confused when trying to find a specific one!

Application

I found this mascara was very quick to build up volume and lengthen my lashes. In just a few sweeps they were completely coated. With one coat I found they volumized and long without being too clumpy or spidery.

The formula feels relatively thick hence the quick build-up but I noticed that it is difficult to apply a second layer especially if the first one has dried as the mascara will simply stick lashes together or clump up. I would recommend sticking to one coat!

Wear

When reviewing and trying new mascaras I am extremely picky with how they wear throughout the day and how easy they are to remove. This mascara held up relatively well throughout the day with the slightest bit of flakiness onto my eyelid which happens when my eyes get a bit oilier. Fortunately, it did not smudge under my eyes which is my biggest pet peeve with mascara! I found it simple to remove as well with my The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser or my Face Halo.

Final Thoughts

Overall I found this mascara to be a nice one to use for day-to-day wear as it performed well but gave me average results. I did not find there to be anything spectacular about how it performed for me but due to the price, it is a pleasant one to wear daily since I am someone who will wear mascara every day.
