NYX professional make-up is now a well-known brand one that I did not know of until it expanded overseas to the UK. The first products I bought from them were NYX soft matte lip creams and they are a beautiful unique formula. So, I decided to review what NYX does best. LIPSTICK!

What it claims: “Slip into something seductive with Lip Lingerie, our luxurious liquid lipstick with a plush, Matte finish. Available in the colour-kissed hues you know and love—from cinnamon pink and chocolate brown, to warm mahogany red and classic nude beige—plus, 12 brand-new nudes! Each sultry shade will coat the curves of your lips with irresistibly creamy colour.”
Packaging
The applicator is a classic doe foot applicator, however, this one is slightly longer and thinner which I have found people either love or hate it. I personally like it, I find it can draw a sharp edge and fill in the centre well. At it is thin it will work well for those with small lips.
Wear
When applied it was extremely pigmented and in one swipe you had an opaque layer of colour that was no streaky. After a few seconds of drying, they appeared matte and transfer-proof. It is important you do not apply too much product as it can become sticky. I am lucky to be blessed with quite smooth lips that all I do to maintain them put vaseline on them every now and then but if you are someone that suffers from dry, cracked lips you will need to exfoliate and apply a lip balm before you this product as it may dry your lips.
This lipstick lasts for ages! They last through eating, drinking and everyday wear. The swatches on my arm would not come off through a shower and scrubbing. So when removing the lipstick at the end of the day I would recommend applying a lip balm or vaseline to break the product off before using your everyday makeup remover.
Shades
As you can tell from the photos this collection is largely nudes, pinks and beige tones which are perfect for any occasion. The more muted tones mean you can experiment with eyeshadow looks or go for a more subtle look whilst still feeling confident. Due to the wide range, you are guaranteed to find a shade that you love!

- Inexpensive
- Long-lasting through everyday wear.
- Large colour range – you will definitely find a nude that compliments your skin tone.
Cons

- Can feel sticky if you apply too much
